Days
Day 1st, Ashgabat
- Landing
in Ashgabat International Airport.
Obtaining a visa. Be prepared that there (in Airport) may be
a Covid testing procedure that costs $35. Pay in cash in US Dollars. Claim baggage 🛄.
Meeting with the guide at the international airport of Ashgabat,
transfer to a hotel (3-star), early check-in. Short rest. Breakfast time
– visit the Museum of
History and Ethnography of Turkmenistan.
A tour of the museum with a professional guide will take 1-2 hours
Visiting the museum complex exposition is divided into 7
thematic galleries to store over a total of 166,000 unique exhibits, many of
which are of special historical and cultural importance.
11.00 - Ashgabat City Tour starts with the historical monument “Old Nisa”
fortress (1hour), which was the capital of the Parthian Empire (since 2007
under the protection of UNESCO) After

Day 2nd, Ashgabat – Mary/Merw - Ashgabat

Site). One of the major archaeological sites of Central Asia, Merv played an
important part in the development of the Silk Road for more than 2 000 years.
The splendid XII c. mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Muhammed ibn-Zeyd,
demonstrating exquisite Seljuk period brickwork and architectural décor.

Day 3rd, Ashgabat-Darvaza Gas crater
Breakfast at the hotel

- visiting Turkmenbashy Ruhy Mosque and Mausoleum in Gypjak city
- trip to Darvaza – Gas Crater, which is a huge
flaming crater located 270 km to the north of Ashgabat, 4 hours of journey. In
the evening, enjoy the spectacular and fascinating view of the gas crater. Visit
the Gas Crater. Stay in a camp with tasty catering - dinner at picnic-style-
the perfect way to enjoy this highlight. Observe the fantastic view of the
crater during daylight and at night, feel the heat, and listen to the sound
that this giant oven creates. Enjoy a delicious fire-cooked meal for dinner
near.

Day 4th, Darvaza- Kunya-Urgench – Dashoguz – Shavat

monuments of Old Urgench, Kunya-Urgench is the capital of Khorezm in X-XII
centuries. 12.00 visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek Khanum,
Il-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey, and the highest minaret in Central Asia,
Kutlyg Timur and etc.
